Site
Preparation
Your yard is surveyed, prepared and staked out for
excavation.
Design & Planning
A design is prepared by our design team to
be reviewed and approved by you.
Excavation
Excavation for your new pool is accomplished using highly precise
surveying instrumentation to ensure exacting specifications.
Our attention to detail at this stage results in your
pool being installed at the proper elevation and a liner that fits your
pool "just like a glove".
Concrete
Walls
Temporary forms are used to form the concrete wall structure. Inside the forms,
a 10" thick, continuous concrete wall is poured.
Additionally, #4, 1/2"
size rebar is placed as reinforcement throughout the wall perimeter.
This design is the strongest in the industry.
Plumbing
& Electrical
The electrical wiring for your pool light is also run at this stage.
Final tie-in to your existing electrical wiring is completed at the end
of the project. This requires your existing electrical box accommodate
40 amp of additional power, which is necessary for the new demands of
your filtration system, pump and pool cleaner.
NOTE: The cost of an additional breaker is not included in the pool
package prices.
Vermiculite
Bottom
A 1/4" thick foam padding (shown in blue) is used to completely
line the inner concrete wall. This padding creates a protective cushion
behind your liner.
Next, we hand shape the bottom of your pool using a
mixture of cement and vermiculite. This layer creates a smooth yet
flexible surface upon which to lay your liner.
Liner
& Water Fill
Once the liner is laid and locked into position, a vacuum
hose is placed between the liner and concrete wall.
This vacuum prevents
most wrinkles from forming as the water stretches your liner into place.
Concrete
Decking
Wooden forms are used to stake out the boundaries of your
concrete decking. The concrete is then poured to a depth of 4" all the
way around your pool.
The concrete dimensions of 4' (sides), 8' (deep)
and 12' (shallow) can be rearranged to suit your needs and layout.
Additional concrete decking can be purchased.
Let the fun begin!
After your pool is complete, we startup and test all the equipment, balance the water and provide training on how to properly maintain your most. Most important, however, is that you know we are always available to answer your questions.
